TMSD has confirmed accommodations at Casa La Plana, in the Montgó National Park area, for the entire summer stay in Jávea, Spain.  A four-bedroom, authentic, Spanish home only minutes from the DFTA, with breathtaking views making this a wonderful environment for campers to stay and explore during their visit.  As well, weekend excursion accommodations have been finalized in Bolulla and Elche.  Valencia accommodations are currently being explored and will be posted once confirmed.

The Montgó National Park, declared an officially protected nature reserve in 1987; shelters Jávea at an elevation of 2,460’, making it the highest summit of the region.  Located between the towns of Denia and Jávea, the Reserve houses a lovely residential area, as well as a Nature Reserve of 5,300 acres.  The Park includes a coastal section that covers almost two miles leading to the historic lighthouse at Cabo de San Antonio.  Along this amazing stretch of road, one can find massive oak groves, marked trails that lead to the Mediterranean Sea; hiking paths that take you down the foothills to the Port of Jávea and historical windmills.  Montgó National Park is rich with history along with immense geographical and scenic value.  This legendary mountain represents a quality of life, a refuge for local wildlife and beautiful flora.  It makes for the perfect area for TMSD campers to retire after a full day of training at the FTA.
